Long gone are the days when the library offered just physical materials. That's a boon to everyone because our building isn't all that big. By offering digital materials through such databases as Overdrive and Zinio, we can provide more materials than ever.
However, accessing those materials can be challenging. No two databases are exactly alike, so being comfortable with one doesn't guarantee comfort with another. Plus, a database can undergo an upgrade in a moment's notice, dashing familiar ways of accessing the materials. But have no fear, we are here to help.
Below is a series of links to documents that will provide a brief introduction to four of our digital collections. Each document includes some general facts and some navigational tips to help you make sense of what you're seeing and how to move around. They also include either a checkout process or, in the case of OverDrive, links to the checkout process broken down by the type of eReader. If you find anything is missing, or one of those upgrades happened and rendered the documentation obsolete, please let us know: firstname.lastname@example.org
