Vegetable Gardening A-Z

Registration begins February 14
Suzanne Crooker, who has worked in the vegetable department at Mahoney’s in Winchester for ten years and has taught vegetable gardening classes there, will tell you all you need to know to start and sustain a vegetable garden.  Topics include soil conditioning, planting and harvesting schedule, fertilizing techniques, and insect and disease identification and controls.  A gift basket from Mahoney’s will be raffled at the end of the program.  This program is being offered in conjunction with the Wilmington Garden Club.
