Computers

Public Computers

Eighteen Internet computers are available to the public, twelve on the first floor in the adult area and six additional in the Teen area on the second floor. Patrons are asked to sign in prior to use for statistical purposes. Time on the computers is limited to 30 minutes if others are waiting. Computers are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and may not be reserved in advance. All users are expected to use these resources in a responsible manner as outlined in the library's Internet Policy.

Printing is available at all workstations. The first five pages are free; each additional page is $.10 payable at the circulation desk. Color copying is available in the Children's room at a cost of $.25 per page.

Computer Classes

The library now offers classes in both basic computer instruction and Internet searching.

Computer Basic Classes

Learn computer basics with a one-on-one half hour class with a volunteer teacher. Monday evenings 7:00 or 7:30 pm. or Tuesdays 10:00 or 10:30 am. Please call 978-694-2099 to reserve any of these 1/2 hour time slots.

Internet Classes

The library offers introductory classes on how to search the Internet. Classes are scheduled on the 1/2 hour; space is limited to two students per session. Ability to use a mouse is recommended. Call 978-694-2099 to specify a time. Ask for Charlotte Wood.
