Rewind! Teen Summer Reading Program
Teens entering grades 6-12 in the fall are invited to hop into a time machine and Rewind! From the middle ages to the 1960s and everywhere in between—isn’t it about time you joined in? Teens are invited to sign up starting Monday, June 15, in the library or online at www.ReadsinMA.org/wilmington.

How do pictures tell stories? Can you “read” a picture the same way you can written words? We’ll be looking at sequential art, comics, and storyboarding in this hands-on visual literacy workshop.

Mario & Luigi have been rescuing the princess for over 20 years, and Carmen Sandiego was a game long before she was a TV show. Come check out these games from long ago, and compare against more recent hits! (We’ll have DDR and Guitar Hero, too!)

Henna artist Nimmi Sehgal will give free henna tattoos to registered participants. Choose from hundreds of designs while waiting for your turn! Registration is limited to 20 and begins June 11.

In the days before machinery, books were bound by hand. Learn how to make your own book covers and endpapers, then bind them into your own handmade books in this hands-on workshop.

Are you ready for the sixth Harry Potter movie to hit theaters at the end of this week? Refresh your memory of what happened in the previous movie at our all-ages movie night! Grab a friend and settle in for a great movie. (Movie is rated PG-13.)

Flash back to the 1960s and learn how to create spirals, rings, rays, or other designs on T-shirts in our hands-on workshop! We’ll provide all the materials (including the shirts)! Space is limited to 20; registration begins July 2.

Rewind: Historical Weapons*
Swords, maces, battleaxes—weapons have a long and
colorful history. Guard Up! of Burlington will be here to show off a wide variety, and let you have some hands-on time with them, too! Space is limited to 20; registration and parental permission is required and begins June 25.

Relive the excitement of the first American rockets sent into space! We’ll provide the model rockets—all you have to do is build it, and then we’ll head down to the lower parking lot launch them (with assistance from the
